I couldn't imagine not seeing FH on Christmas day...We'll probably do what we've done for the last several years...spend the morning with our parents, then he'll come to my house to eat dinner, and then we'll go to his house for desert...as for the other holidays, they're always up in the air

Well last year our families sort of morphed. My parents came to Christmas eve dinner at FH's aunts house so basically both families were together. Then I went to midnight mass with FH and slept at his parents, we opened presents with his parents and then showered and went to my house and opened presents with my parents and then did dinner with my parents.

Last year for turkey day my dad was out of town so my mom just came to FH's.

So i guess lucky for me my parents just come places with FHs family so no real concerns.

Sorry to crash your board but this was a really big issue for me. I am very sad to know that I will never have another Christmas at home. I guess I'm too sentimental

He and I will be with our families one last time... He will be at dinner at my house Christmas Eve...doesn't want to break the Italian Tradition!!! I Have 2 X-mas Christmas day will be at dads house for last time...next yr it will be at our house!!! We can't wait to invite everyone over!!!

We usually spend Christmas Eve with my Family and Christmas Day with his. It works out nicely that way.

This will be my last xmas at home - but I wont be away from FH. His parents live in Vegas, so he will most likely stay at my house xmas eve and open gifts in the morning with me and my family.

OMG Santina I just got Goosebumps reading your post. I can’t believe this is our last Christmas before we’re married!

I will continue eating w/ FI family Christmas Eve and then he’ll eat w/ mine on Christmas Day. However, on Christmas morning we will spend it with our own families.

Same here. FH and I do not live together so I have been spending Christmas morning with my family every year and will most certainly do it for the last time this year! Waking up at the crack of dawn and running to the tree with my sister is my favorite thing on Christmas morning!!

FH will be over for Christmas Eve dinner and I will be with FH's fmaily for Christmas dinner, so we will still see each other.

This year we will probably do our normal splitting, but next year perhaps we will stay with our families since it will be only a few days before the wedding!!
