The florist I want to use, Roots canceled my appointment and then called me back two days later to tell me that
1. there were problems in Miami and she couldn't get flowers I wanted which freaked me out a little...
BUT THEN
2. Told me her whole block was broken into and the FBI and police are all over the place... Really? Whats going on over there?
Or is she just trying to divert my attention from #1
What do you think, would you be freaked out enough to just look for another one?

yea i would just make myself in the neighborhood and just drop in and see what the deal is - if your gut is telling you something is fishy - just move on - not worth the drama

The florist is 1.5 hours from where I live but only like 20 minutes from my venue.
I feel like a destination bride sometimes ...

Another bride just sent me an FM telling me she had problems with them too
Find a new florist. There are tons out there. If you're getting married at the Vineyards, I heard that Landscape Adventure is very good.

I was interested in one particular florist and when I went to go check out the sample CP he wasn't there and the CP was never made and his brother apologized and said that he would have someone deliver the sample the next day to my house. I told him what time to come and he showed up 4 or 5 hours later. He gave me a bunch of excuses that I didn't believe and I took that as a sign to look for someone knew. I liked his work, but something gave me a bad feeling about him....go with your gut.

If I remember correctly someone had posted about break ins in Port Jeff the other day I dont remember tho what it had said.
I would get another florist, if she is having a problem prior to your wedding then there is no guarantee this problem wont occur for your actual wedding day. It would make me a little nervous

I would definitely find another florist...I read the other brides post and it raised a lot of red flags.
Check out a florist closer to you. You will appreciate it when your wedding date approaches.
I'm getting married in Jersey and having my reception at the Watermill. My florist is 5 minutes from me and is willing to travel to both places. FM for more information. Only 2 out of the 7 florists we checked out wanted to charge a travel fee.

that does sound a little odd just the whole situation plus 2 different excuses my gut would tell me to maybe look around a little more or go with your 2nd choice of florist and get your deposit back if you left one..
