The florist I want to use, Roots canceled my appointment and then called me back two days later to tell me that
1. there were problems in Miami and she couldn't get flowers I wanted which freaked me out a little...
BUT THEN
2. Told me her whole block was broken into and the FBI and police are all over the place... Really? Whats going on over there?
Or is she just trying to divert my attention from #1
What do you think, would you be freaked out enough to just look for another one?

I met with them awhile back also and i had some fishy feelings about her as well. I have a certain shade of red for my bridal party and only black magic roses match it close enough i kept telling her i dont want fire engine red flowers etcc. and she jsut kept mentioning gerber daisies and some other flowers and i said no theyre too red....then towardsw the end as i was leaving she said well ill try my best to get you all roses but theres a chance i cant and i was like HUH? if i didnt listen to her i would have missed that and probably would have ended up with gerber daisies....id def find someone else

I would go with another florist...what's going on is not a good sign and doesn't promote the trust you need when you hire a vendor There are so many great floral designers that are vendors here (and ones that aren't)! Good luck

Omg . . .thats really scary. I think I might be freaked out enough to go somewhere else. But thats depends if you are going to end up losing money BUT if you have those flowers in the contract and she can not make that happen then you can prob. cancel the whole thing w/o a fee.

They really did get robbed this week and so did the dentist next to them (I work in the area)
I went to them a few months ago and they cancelled 3 appts on me only an hour before. I just never called back

At least they are not liars, I guess then they are just flaky
I'm not calling her back, your all right, its not worth the drama, and what happened can happen on my wedding day if she can't figure out how to get me flowers in any situation she can't figure it out on wedding day.
I'm looking for others... your all right, there are great vendors out there, but now I'm really scared of who to trust
