I dont think you should ever let someone on these boards hurt you so much that you stop planning your wedding.

People on this site have been so burned by fake brides that they tend to jump to conclusions... I wouldnt take it personally... even though it is easier said than done.

I'm sorry! I think that people feel a little vulnerable online and try to be on the defensive. I'm sure it wasn't meant to hurt you. Your first few posts might have just come off as sounding different from other brides.

Awww, sweetie, you should never give some random stranger on the internet that kind of power over you.

Not to defend this other poster, but merely to demonstrate why some might make accusations, just the other day Ron posted that he banned several screen names b/c the poster was a . This person actually started an entire thread that her FI had broken things off with her. For three full pages she was getting 's. She too was called out on the carpet - not under that screenname, but under another one. Those posters were correct.

In your case a horrible mistake was made. Don't let it ruin your planning.

I KNEW it!!! And she called me rude and I didn't even out her the way others did!!! And I apologized and everything!!!! Ron told me she was for real when I asked him why he deleted our posts!!!

I am sorry people thought you were not a real bride - I would be annoyed too!!!

Months ago, when I first started using this site, I was unfamiliar with the etiquette that makes up this site. After months reading and posting and planning I have learned a lot from you all. But there is one thing that really bothered me. I was accused of not being a real bride. Even now I still read what that 'other bride' posts and I think about how embarrassed she made me feel. I stopped using the site and stopped planning for months because I was so hurt. She did not FM me. She just accused me and posted it for all the world to see. I just want to you to know that I am still bothered by your rude, low, selfless comment. You know who you are.

I understand how you feel. When I first started posting everyone thought I was a vendor b/c I raved about my friends who I was using as my DJ. Try not to take it too personal. People can get a bit carried away at times.

Yes I agree with Sasha. Im sorry you were hurt by this Most of the girls on this site are very wecoming. Theres always one in a bunch, ya know. Dont let her stop your wedding planning, and please dont let it stop you from posting on these boards!

I hope you can look past that and move on. You are always welcome here.

I'm willing to bet that the bride who accused you, doesn' even remember doing it...I wouldn't take it personal. Sometimes people have encountered fake brides on this site and they may be extra sensitive....that doesn't justify their behavior, but it could be an explaination...If it really bothers you, fm her and tell her how you feel!!!!!

Now go back to planning!!!!!
