I am mortgage shopping today and I am finding more lenders that do the 80/10/10 with no additional closing costs.

I work in customer service and what's worse than being called ma'am is when someone says 'yes ma'am' every 3 seconds.

Just to state the other side, I say ma'am or sir regardless of people's age. If it is a stranger or someone in a position of authority I am unfamiliar with, I'll use that address in order to be respectful, not to make the other person feel old.

I'm going to have to rethink how I address certain people

that drives me NUTS when I am already MAD and getting called ma'am from a customer service rep

I know they are just trying to be nice- but it sends me over the edge
