We got a response card back yesterday with 'will attend' checked off. No name, no return address, no number of guests. Trying to figure out how to word the placecard...maybe Mr. and Mrs. Attend?

That's why you put a small number on the back to match up to the corresponding index card or list #.......

We had the same thing and thankfully for the number that we put on the back, we knew exactly who it was.

I didn't number mine, thank goodness I didn't have this problem.
