This is a really good deal!

So yesterday I was reading Newsday...and there is a section for brides. I was looking through this part and I saw that The Thatched Cottage has a special running. It sounded really good...so if anyone is on a budget I think this would be a good option to look into...

For a January or February wedding only:

Its $10,000, you must guarantee 100 people (Sat night the guar is 175)

You get I think a 7 course meal, centerpieces, a DJ, and tax and grat is included.

I already booked my hall, but it sounded good for those on a budget!

thatched cottage was actually the first hall i visited because of that special they had going. i think that special is only january and february though so watch your dates. the food they offer sounds amazing...its a ton of food!!
what we didnt like though were the centerpieces. you dont get to choose them. they are these silver trees with votives hanging off them. if you have a certain CP in mind then you would still have to get your own.
but it still is a great package!
