My job was saved today, but several others have been laid off, including a friend of mine from the department. Also, we are awaiting more terrible news about some changes, which we will recieve in about an hour.....

I looked at your pics and realized that I work in the same office as you. It is a very depressing day here today and I know that everyone in my dept. is happy to have their jobs.

Sorry to hear all of this. It's such a crappy time. I think most people are afraid of losing their jobs at this point. My company has also done layoffs and I just keep praying my job is safe.

I am soo sorry to hear this. Its so sad to say that its so common lately, Its really scary. I feel for you
OHMIGOD!!!! They are reducing our pay and maybe our hours, taking away bonuses, reducing PTO.... I have to get a second job. I cant afford to get married!!!:
I just want to leave, have a drink and try not to think about today ;(

I know exactly how you feel! We had lay off about a month ago and I girl who is on my team got laid off and having to say goodbye to her was so ackward. And just seeing random people leaving the store with their pink slip was surreal . I felt like I was on the outside looking in!
