neesiepie..it is true.
I saw one on 10 deadliest creatures show and showed you the doctor pulling the larvae out of a lady's arm. They were zoologists or something and were collecting samples from a foreign country when one day she got 'stung' by something. A few days later she had a boil/swelling and then when she pressed on it...ewwwwwwwwwwww all I can say is she went to the doctor and he pulle dout the grossest looking thing ever..if she didnt it would have eated its way out.

From what I read the fly can look like a bee but when it stings you it actually is depositing egg(s) into the skin. They eat the flesh and eventually will crawl out.

Oh goodness my stomach just flipped over.

It is true, they had a program on it on Dateline or 20/20 awhile back and they showed this man that had one in his arm and one in his leg, and the dr here in the US didn't know what it was.

It is so gross
