Yesterday, I went out to happy hour with a bunch of people that I work with. They are almost all married, or engaged, or seeing people, and they are all over each other! They havew no concept of the fact that they have significant others at home waiting forthem, and they are so cynical about their relationships. It is so sad. Last year, two of them were having this horrible affair- bot were married, and the guy had a one year old and his wife was 8 months pregnant! While he was out getting drunk, and fooling around, she was home hugely pregnant and running around after a baby! Whenever, I comment about their disgusting behavior, everyone is like, 'You'll see what it is like when you get married, you will be doing the same thing! ' I MOST CERTAINLY WILL NOT! Is it just me, or this really insane? They all act like it is normal.
I would never be able to live with myself if I even entertained the thought of cheating on my FI-- he is the most wonderful man and would NEVER do that to me. I don't know how people forget to think about their spouses and children- just their own horniness! That is why I rarely go to work functions- they will all hate me soon because I can't help speaking my mind -- I tell them right to their faces how pathetic they are!
