A Groom's cake is usually served at the rehearsal dinner, a gift from the bride to her groom. Since the wedding cake is traditionally white to reflect the Bride, the Groom's cake is usually chocolate or is served to reflect his hobbies/activities. HTH!!

Its more of a Southern tradition which has migrated up here...but its just a cake that is designed in the shape of something the groom likes.. Sometimes done at the wedding reception (in the South) but people are doing them at the RD..Its totally optional

Here is our Groom's Cake that I surprised my DH with at our rehersal dinner.

It's an exact replica of Cooper, our dog.

Thomas (Audrey's Bakery in Sayville) is utterly amazing! He did our wedding cake too!

OMG.....They are fantastic!!!!!
The dog cake is amazing and your wedding cake is Beautiful!!!

What did you have to do, just give him a picture of your dog?

Oh, I didn't know that. Is it possible to get a cake made in the shape of playstation 2??? I guess it's either that or a big derek jeter cake!
