So i wrote a few days ago how i felt bad for fh because a lot of his friends and family can't make the wedding for various reasons. He's not going to have many people there for him, but i think he was getting over it. WELL, last night one of our GM calls him (we only have two) and tells him that he thinks it might not be a good idea for him to be in the BP!!!! He said that he really has to work that day and would only be at the wedding for about an hour because his band is playing that night! W T F!!! FH was furious and totaly shocked by his friends selfishness. FH told him not to bother even showing up that day. FH does have a friend that will take his place. He should've taken this guys place a long time ago cuz everytime he would mention the wedding to this so called friend he acted like it was one big inconvenience. I really can't believe he's doing this about a month before the wedding. and the idiot already paid for his tux! We called the tux place and i think they are going to give us the credit to put toward our new GM's tux. I just can't believe the balls on this guy! Sorry this is long, had to vent!

OMG!!! Sorry to hear FH 'friend' did that. That is absolutely selfish on his part. At least FH sees his true colors.

Wow. I didn't think people could be so inconsiderate, but as everyone has said already, wedding planning shows you who your true friends are.

woooooowww...... selfish as can be. Some people don't realize that a wedding is a special day and he should make the full effort to be there for his friend.

What a jacka$$. Although is probably better off without him in the BP, since it doesnt sound like he would have added anything meaningful to the day anyway.

Thanks girls. It really does show peoples true colors. At first he said that he would be there from 4pm (when we start taking pics) to 10pm. Our reception goes until midnight. I was pissed that he was going to leave two hours earlier! Now he says that he would only be there for an hour. No thanks jerk! I know it will take fh a little while to get over this one, but at least he has a true friend that will step up and be a much better choice in the long run.

Oh Man, that really does stink. I feel bad for your fh. But I have heard that weddings bring out some bad things in people and maybe its better off that he realizes that this person is not so great of a friend now instead of later for fh
