My FH and I sat down tonight and went over everything because we finally booked all the vendors except limos... and I just started crying! I can't believe what this is costing us!! Just hit me tonight!! Has this hit anyone else yet!??

i got a second job last week! Waitressing at weddings/parties on the weekends... still stressing though Like you said .. it's once in a lifetime.. i have to keep reminding myself of that!!

I'm sure I will be in your boat soon because FH and I are going to go over all the costs of everything this weekend and figure out when payments are due and stuff. I'm sure I'll be crying then as well!!

I have a budget and i'm sticking to it no matter what. Right now it looks like i'm not getting a videographer. I am also making payments to the hall. Every other month I am sending them $1000 to $1500 up to $8500.00 I'm not going to overpay. This way on the day of the wedding I will only owe them around $2500.00 if that much. It's the vendors that are costing me a fortune.

OMG chirssy, i just did the same thing with jim and everytime we go over everything, it just goes up up up! think of it in a good way tho. we are planning the wedding of our dreams here!!
but i hear ya! the amount of money we are spending could totally go to something else!

I was like that in the beginning before we even booked everything. But it was at that time I decided to figure out how much money COULD be saved from that point until the wedding and worked from there. I keep a running tally of what everything is costing us subtracted by what we will have saved and so far we are still OKAY!!! Thank God.

I was thinking about it last night when I realized how much is due in final payments. My savings will be COMPLETELY wiped out!!! I actually thought if one of us lost our jobs we would be soooo screwed!

I am getting a 2nd job as a bartender.. I just have to.. I am determined to pay my hall off by January.. I still haven't even booked photographers, limos, and video yet..
