This is important..will you all still love me if..

I become a 2007 bride?

It breaks my heart to put it off another year (almost to 2008!) but there's just so much stress going on with my dad and everything else that it's just not in me to plan a wedding right now. Plus we'll have a whole extra year to save and I can have every bell and whistle I want.

It's not official yet, and I feel so sad about it, but I think it'll be the best decision. I mean, I'm just not up to going around looking at vendors and gowns or anything like that.

it's a good decision, right?

If you feel like you need more time, then definitely take it. You're supposed to enjoy your wedding process. If you're not up for it, then you're missing out on half of the fun. And you seem like such a nice (and strong) person...of course we'll still love you. You still have to post here, though! No making a 2007 board!!

You do whatever you have to and whatever is best for you and FH....of course we will still love you...and we will all be here for you!!!

I am sure you are sad to put it off, but your head and your heart need to be in the same place in order for you to enjoy it and be happIEST and with everything going on.....let your head catch up- if it takes another year, so be it!

Jenn, of course we'll still love you. You have to do what is best for you & FH. It seems you have a lot on your plate & its not much fun going to vendors, etc. if your heart isn't in it.

Well that's a silly question to ask!! There's plenty of 07 brides on this board that we love, and it wouldn't be any different for you!!! A lot of brides feel the need to push back their weddings due to uncontrollable issues, it's perfectly normal. Take care of what you need and then move forward with the wedding. Like you said, it gives you more time to save; nothing wrong with that!!! It sounds like you made a very reasonable decision, good luck with it! Hope everything works out for you!!!

This is definitely a good decision! The wedding planning process is supposed to be a fun time for you and FH and your families, and right now you have so many other things going on, that you're not having the fun you should have with it! Also waiting will enable you to have the wedding you want! We'll still love you as long as you don't disappear on us

I think what ever is best for you, is what you should do. If you are stressed out with your Dad the last thing you need to worry about is planning a wedding. Of course we would still love you.
