this is my goodbye?? for now

one of the worst feelings in the world, is calling vendors and telling them that you have to push back your wedding for like 2-3 years. Yep, we have decided (well our financial situations have decided) that we cant afford my big dream wedding and i refuse to settle, so we're gonna push the wedding back. we're gonna do our europe trip, probably have a baby.. then when things are looking good.. we'll start planning again. thanks to everyone thats helped me with all of my stupid questions and my strong opinions. you girls are the best and truly have given me tons of insight and info on weddings. xo

OH WOW!!!! That is news!!

I'm sorry that you have to push your wedding back, but if you both feel it's for the best, then that's great! You'll get your dream wedding soon ;) It's better to not go into debt for a wedding, so your decision is probably a good one ;)

im sorry you have to do this! but i def. agree you shouldnt have to settle....were you able to get your money back?? i hope so. have fun in europe!

Hey sweetie, I think you should call me before you make this huge decision. There are things that we can do so you can have a backyard wedding with very good food but for like half the price. Please don't decide so quick. I am home all night and FM'ed you my home number!

I'm sorry you have to push your wedding back. But if you want your dream wedding, then you should have it, even if it means waiting a few years. Have a wonderful time in Europe. I've only been to Italy, but that alone was fabulous.

Good luck with everything! It is so much better to puch things back and not settle. We pushed our wedding back two years because I wouldn't settle and honestly it was the best decission. Our finances are better now and at least I know I am not going to look back and be upset about the most important day of my life.

WoW! I wasn't expecting that! I thought you were going to say you were going on a weekend getaway or something. Well, things always happen for a reason and i'm glad you're not settling. Europe sounds like a fantastic trip. I wish you and your FH all the best and enjoy every moment life has to offer you!!! Good Luck!!
