This is not happening...

to me. My eyebrows were burnt when I had them waxed, my favors melted, my future sister-in-law who is my MOH and my FH mother both can't come to the rehersal dinner, there are TWO hurricanes coming AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF I just got my period. I feel very unlucky right now...

Oh no..... don't worry about the hurricane, it may not even hit us. Try to think positive about the wedding that you've been planning for so long. Good Luck and try to enjoy the day.

I know it sucks that both girls cant make it to the rehearsal, but the important thing is that they are there for the big day. dont worry about the hurricanes. By the time they reach NY they will be storms and that's not until a couple of days from now anyway. Even though Aunt flo was an uninvited guest, at least she came a day early so the cramps wont get in the way. The sooner she comes, the sooner she leaves!! As for the favors, can they be replaced? Let us know if there is anything we can help you with!!

I agree: Eyebrows can be worked on. Rehearsals are just rehearsals, not the real thing. Favors can be fixed. The Hurricane is the news stations hype because they need to report something different than the usual terroist stuff and election talk.

Breathe deeply and remember that people have had weddings in all kinds of weather conditions and it is not the weather or the favors or your eyebrows that make your wedding great. It is the love you and your family share and the vows you take. Think of last year's black out and the wedding that went on with a few generators for power.
Love does conquer all and weddings under extreme circumstances are the ones that the guests remember because of how everyone pulls together. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best and go say 'I do' because you have a FH who loves you!!!!

I burnt my eyebrows and a few strands of hair off in a nasty bong incident in college. The eyebrows are easy as pie...go to Sephora or the mall what ever is closest and get Estee Lauder eyebrow shtuff. It comes in a compact with a lil brush in an assortment of colors. Just find the one that matches best.
Aunt Flow..she is a pain in the butt, don't let her get to you.
Charley and Bonnie..those two are some uninvited guests. I am having my eparty on Sunday and it is supposed to be really bad out. Saturday is not supposed to be as bad!

As I have heard from many brides on here, something always goes wrong at weddings no matter how much we try to make it perfect.

Uhhhh the same thing has happened to me!!!!

I think that you are getting all the bad stuff out of the way now before the wedding....and the actual day will be perfect!!! Now all of these circumstances are beyond your control so just relax, breathe, and enjoy yourself and your new hubby!
