My grandma got an invitation today to a wedding in AUGUST. SHe has to RSVP by May 15th...
In the invite, what also the list of 5 places thuis couple registered....
I think this is strange.....
First of all, its TOO early to send them out! How about a save the date or something like that....

UMMM ya thats wierd. Mine arent even addressed yet LOL and 5 places.... and putting the card in the invite... WHERE ARE THE ETIQUETTE POLICE??

i actually just got an invitation for a 6/25 wedding and had to rsvp by 5/1- i thought that was really early too!

well, we got my cousins today..hers is June 12th...and you have to reply byMay 20th....that I think is OK....
BUt to mail them out 4 months early is really weird..my grandma says maybe they are just anxious!!
I have not even chosen or ordred mine.....I guess I am BEHIND! hhahah

Maybe they have a B List and want to ge responses in so that they can send out another list with a later RSVP date and not hurt anyones feelings

Anyway last year I got an engagement party invitation - It was for halloween and I got it I think the last week of may or the first week of June!!!! Not only that but I never even met the girl!!!!!! they didnt have alot of friends or family so they just started inviting EVERYONE THEY HAD EVER HEARD of!!!! friends of friends and weird stuff like that. I looked up her registry and she had like 20 pages on 3 different stores.. everything was sooooooooo expensive!!! and she wanted like 10 of everything!! the chepist thing she had on there was $25 .. but that was for A SPOON!! everything else was at least $100
