whats your occupation that allows you to move to georgis. i have been debatingthis question for awhile. were both teachers..

DH is a store manager so he could transfer and right now I'm in cust. svc....BUT I had a job offer at a pre-school when I started looking last summer. Also the county we want to live in is BOOMING...new schools going up EVERYWHERE and they are DESPERATE for teachers. DARN IT...there was a website where you could post your resume and all the school districts had access!!! We were looking in Gwinnett County which is NE of Atlanta.....

When we go, DH will be go back to school to become a teacher, I might do the same but I think I'd be happy with the pre-school. I'd prefer to be a stay at home mom when the time comes.

THANKS SWEETY! We fell in love down there when his sister took us around. And there are so many NY'ers!!!! One family stopped to talk to us when they saw the NY plates on the car...they were from Brooklyn!

My parents built a house 2 yrs ago in Tucketon, NJ just like that for so cheap.

Good luck to you. I would move to the Atlanta area in a heartbeat if my DH werent tied to the city with his job. We have 2 friends that live down there and each has an amazing house - the one for about $150K would be $400K here and the $300K house would be $500K here at least - it was breathtaking.

BTW, my one friend is a teacher and she said she makes more money there than she did here.
