I did not want to buy my BP gifts till the last minute.
I got my girls their jewelry and was planning on getting a few other things along with cute slippers/flip flops.
So far 2 of my girls said, 'oh I just saw the cutest pair of slippers to change into and I am going back next week to get them'
Then another one today, 'Oh I saw the nicest bracelet that I am thinking about getting'
What do you do? I mean I just said 'Cool'

i thought it was pretty traditional and well known that the bride buys the Bm jewlery as a gift. Oh, well~ what can you do...I'm sure you will get them something they will love!

Funny you should mention that because I was thinking it the other day. I plan on buying my BMs their jewlery and slippers too but I was afraid they would go off and buy them themselves..but then I thought about it and they dont have much money so they prob. wont lol.. but I am sorry that its happened to you...I mean you can still buy it for them..they can always use their jewlery on another occasion.

Oh I don't care if they have 5 pairs of slippers to wear that day, I am getting them anyway . As for the Jewelry, I got all of them the same set and I am giving it to them at the RD, so they will understand then, why I was giving them funny looks every time they told me they were buying something.

thats annoying, that would make me nuts but there isnt much you can do I guess. I would give them the gifts anyway, who knows they may like your gifts better

Same kind of thing happened to me. I was hanging out with all my bm's last week and one of them said that they should buy matching jewelry for the wedding... so of course I don't want them to go out and do that... so I just said, well DON'T because I bought you jewelry already! lol, I guess it ruined the surprise, but not really since they don't know what it looks like yet.

That's annoying!! I was planning on buying my girls a pair if earings and I figure if they buy themselves a pair to wear they better just wear mine hehehhe
