This is why kids need to be cut from sports and picked last for a team...

Ohh that and not everyone should get a trophy for playing. First, second and third thats it. It teaches you to work heard to earn something.

Kids need to learn to work as a team this is the reason Japan and China are kicking our butts academically. That and kids need to learn respect, patience and to be hard working. No one is born special and anyone who says otherwise deserves a kick in their butt.

even though this is hysterical..its actually true

i know i got my *** whooped if i did something crazy and i never did it again..

my favorite that i will pass on to my kids was the wooden spoon..man that hurts..lol

oh man....don't even get me started on this one....it's like anyone under the age of 20 has a big fat 'THE WORLD OWS ME EVERYTHING' sign on their forehead....

.....remember the days when playgrounds had concrete underneath and kids got smacked for calling their parents names...

on supernanny teh kids hit their parents in every episode - i actually FLINCH when i see that bc if i EVER even raised my hand to my mother. . .well lets just say i wouldnt be here to post today. . .!!!!

Seriously. I got beat with many wooden spoons (they kept breaking over my arms, hands and wrists from when I foolishly tried to CMA).

I hope our generation brings back asss whoopin's - kids today are such crybaby pansies too!

my mom and grandma had what we would call the 'boomerang shoe' the shoe would be off - hit you in the head - and then BACK on her foot before you even knew what happened!!!!!!!!!!!!

man - kids need to step it up.

HAHAHA...I was just going to say that in asia, corporal punishment is okay in school...my parents used to tell me how their teachers were allowed to hit them if they misbehaved...that's why they're so good in school....because they're SCARED! Even though I grew up here, I used to get hit for every point I scored away from 100 on exams...this is what my grandparents did to my parents and they continued the lovely tradition. Needless to say, I was an A student most of my life....until I got too big for them to hit me, then I slacked off!!!!

sounds like italy - where even today basically anyone in the town who sees you misbehave is allowed to hit you for it before they bring you home!

FH and I Agree - don't beat the snot out of your kids, but NO child is above a smack if he's effin' around. I got hit as a kid and I remember EVERYTIME I got hit, and you know what? I totally deserved it. Last time I got smacked I think I was about 15 years old...and yep I had that 'The World Owes Me Everything' sign on my forehead...and I gave my mom the diiiiiiiirtiest look...WHACK. And I knew right then I was the worst daughter ever. LOL We both cried that time.

But seriously, I love the supernanny shows. 'Oh, yeaah, well that's just Darren being Darren. I know he shouldn't be setting the house on fire but really, he's only 8 and it's not his fault.' Yeah well, i promise you that if little Darren were MY son, i'd be setting his @$$ on fire with the business end of my hand. My family is from Puerto Rico.....my parents did NOT play. And God help you if you got my mom to the point where she'd say 'Fine. Wait til your father gets home.' When you heard that, you better hope you got you rear end across the Canadian border before he got home. LOL

When I got too big for them to hit me they used bigger tools...went from a spoon or a show to a broom handle ...I STILL think teachers should be able to hold more weight....I grew up going to Catholic school (SHA YES!) There was no room for screwing up there...we got detention for our socks being rolled down and our shirts untucked...THATS DISCIPLINE MAN! Kids in other HS throw chairs at teachers...its
NUTS!!!!

But its just as much the parents faults...they're the ones saying 'Well why can't everyone play?' CUZ YOUR KID $UCK$...WE PUT HIM IN THE OUTFIELD ONCE A SEASON SO HE DOSENT GET BED SORES RIDING PINE!!!!'

I dont think kids today know how good they have it.....its scary im saying that and im 23! I feel like im 50!!!
