there was a show on TLC called 'i didnt know i was pregnant' or something like that. I saw it and it was crazy. One woman went to the hospital bc she had horrible stomach pains and they told her she was in labor but she said 'no i am not pregnant' she didnt know the entire time. It doesnt happen often obviously but there are rare cases and that wasnt the only case, there were a few ladies on that show. As rare as it is it does happen sometimes. The doctors spoke about this and explained how its possible to not know you're pregnant. They still play this show on TLC so you can still catch this show

Also i dont think its unusual for women to confuse labor pains with something else. Its the same way women will automatically think its labor pains but then go to the hospital and its just gas. She went to the bathroom and said the baby came out and noticed only after she got up when she saw a foot and she tried to pull the baby out. The way the title is i thought she purposely flushed the baby down the toilet, which she didnt even do.

I have to say that i do know one woman personally who did have a baby while she was in the shower. My parents were over the house, she said she was gonna take a shower, and next thing you know she was calling for my mom and her older daughter bc she just gave birth. My dad was in complete shock when she walked out with the baby, he thought it was the craziest thing he has ever seen its been 10 years at least since this happened and my dad still tells this story as if it was yesterday bc he is still in shock about it this woman had 8 other kids, and i know after quite a few times it becomes alot easier each labor but wow didnt expect that. The baby was fine though in this situation, they called an ambulance right away and took both to the hospital

as a mother i knew when i was in labor and when i was i told my doctor i had to poop and she said it was the labor so i pooped in the bag that the water and all the nasty stuff goes in and my doctor was like o s***

yes i know, the same way the lady i know who gave birth in the shower knew she was pregnant, she went to take a shower bc she wasnt feeling great and to just wake up a little, she was only in the shower for a few mins not like she went through the whole big labor process, the baby came out in mins. She probably wasnt close to her due date and thought it was some other type of stomach pain. Thats why i mentioned that the pains can be confused, the same way women think they are in labor but meanwhile its just gas. They say she knew she was pregnant but didnt say she knew she was in labor. There are pregnant women whose water break and meanwhile they just think they peed themselves which ive heard more than once bc its not close to their due date so they dont think thats the case lol.

If she flushed the toilet then i would think she was crazy but she said she went to the bathroom bc she thought she had other stomach issues and when she looked she was a foot and tried her best to take the baby out. She never flushed the toilet.

believe it or not my cousin was preggo for 8 months and was still getting her period. 8th month she went into labor and thought it was food poisioning. The baby was fine thank god b ut only 4 lbs. She didnt even look preggo just like she was bloated.... crazy right?

you actually just proved the point. You said you also thought you had to poop but the doctor had to tell you no it was labor. So then you can see how this women thought she just had to poop and not think she was in labor. What if you hadnt asked your doctor, would you have gone to the bathroom bc thats what you thought it was? Most women say they feel like they have to poop while in labor, even jenny mccarthy talks about this in her book.

But every women has a different experience with their labor. The lady i know had hers in mins and didnt go through the whole big labor process. My mom even had me in about 3 hours and she said that when they took out the placenta after that hurt more than the actual labor

she did look, didnt you read the article? She NEVER flushed the baby down the toilet. She saw the foot as soon as she looked and then jumped to try and grab the baby out but i think it was too late and she put the baby in her car after, it wasnt flushed down. I read the whole article, but if i would've read just the title or just the beginning i would also have thought this woman flushed it down the toilet.

I dont agree with how she handled it after. She should've called the cops right after, not put the baby in the car
