I actually emailed the people at that church one time because I too am a Christian and am shocked with their disrespect for people. Wherever you stand on homosexuality nobody has the right to disturb a funeral, it should be illegal to be picketing in front of a funeral. They do it in front of soldiers funerals too.

I just have to disagree with one thing said... God does hate, the bible talks several times of God hating. 'Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated' Rom 9:13. Also it talks of God hating divorce 'I hate divorce,' says the LORD God of Israel, 'and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as with his garment,' says the LORD Almighty. So guard yourself in your spirit, and do not break faith.' Malachi 2:16. However, used in the context of the Westboro church that protest funerals they are proclaiming they know the feelings of God and a man's heart which they do not.

Oh a few more comments (now that you got me going):
Why do people waste so much time and energy on theings they are against. No one is forcing that lifestyle on them.
And it doesn't say: Love thy neighbor, as long as he's not gay!
