This may be a STUPID question but . . .
If you wear a veil on your wedding day and use the blusher to walk down the isle, who lifts the blusher over your head and when? Is it your husband before you kiss or maybe your father before he lets you go? I've heard both and since I've never been married or been to a wedding where the bride has worn one, I'm clueless
TIA ladies. . . by the way, we decided on our honeymoon. My poll last week was a dead tie between Spain and Portugal. . . so we had to suck it up and make a decision ourselves
it was a tough one. . .but we're going with . . . PORTUGAL!! YIPPY!!!

Congrats on the honeymoon! As for the wedding blusher. I'm having my Dad pull it up after he walks me down the aisle, so I can see FH throught the mass. You have to decide what you want to do and go for it!

I say father, that is the way I have always seen it done, but I guess it's a matter of personal taste. If you have your husband do it before the kiss that means your face will be covered for the entire ceremony, and in all the pictures.

Re: This may be a STUPID question but . . .
Thanks ladies. . . that's the way I was leaning (having my dad lift it) but I wasn't sure what the norm was. It's amazing how much you are supposed to know about getting married when you've never been before
I've come to the conclusion that it's kind of like being told to perform a very delicate and precise brain surgery on the spur of the moment. . . with a dull, second-rate kitchen knife. . . I have no idea where to start, what to do next. . .but I'm fairly certain that if left to my own devices, I'll butcher it!
