This may be a weird question....But

For those who have already had their Bridal Shower, Was your FH their? I've seen some girls here post pics of their FH's there. I was just curious.

He dropped me off and picked me up, so there are some pics with him but for the main portion he wasn't there...

FH brought me there, stayed for a few minutes, then left. He came back to get me when it was over.

He was there for the first 15 min to drop me off, say hello to everyone and then came back about a half hour towards the end to help with all the gifts and bringing them to the truck.

My FH dropped me off and picked me up. He left with the other guys (Cousins, some of the Husbands that had to drop off their Wives) and hung out with them till it was over.

I haven't had my wedding shower yet but I want my FH to stick around. I don't expect him to hang around in the main room but maybe he can chill by the bar with my brother or something.....

in my case, tradition..
my fh , my dad, my uncle ( godfather) & cousin, were all there to greet me & then left after i got there,

fh was adorable, he had his sweat suit made to match mine , saying groom & then greetd me with 3 roses , one for eac year

DH and his 2 GM's showed up at the end of the shower to load up the car with all the goodies. (both GMs girlfriend/wives were there at the shower, so they were also picking them up too)

i think it's pretty customary for the FH to show up and load up the gifts.

Well orginally, DH was going to be there to greet people then leave BUT since he would have people gone off on my mother and made everything uncomfortable for everyone, so he didn't come.

I had to explain to people why he wasn't there...ONLY after my mom made them ask me why he wasn't....

What she should have been doing was explaining why SHE wasn't going to my wedding. Sorry had to vent!

He was there for bits and pieces of it. He actually went out to play pool with the guys but never said he was going and missed out on opening presents with me which was the one thing he wanted to do.

Same here! He brought me to the party... stayed for like 15 min to say hello to everyone - and then came like 2 hrs before the party was over to bring the gifts to my house.

yup my FH was there...

i told him since i hate showers so much he has to be.. since that stuff is half his!

i had two showers.. first was crappy fmil shower which he REALLY had to attend it was all his side peopel i didnt know
second shower was co-ed so him being there wasnt' weird it was drinking beers and opening presents

I haven't had my shower yet, but of all the showers that i went too the FH comes before to say Hi and then leaves with the rest of the guys to get something to eat or whatever else and then comes back to help pick up the gifts.

well I havent had mine yet..but I do plan on having FH there...dont know if he will be there for the entire event..or if he will show up towards the end, but he will def. be there
