2-3 months before depending on how many OOTers, whether you sent STDs, what day of the week you are getting married, etc

my wedding is oct 12 and i'm sending them out in August since people will be away and it will give me a month to call people and find out if they can come.

I would set the RSVP for Sept 5.
ETA - I'd send them out the last week July or first week in August.

I'm sending mine out 10 weeks before my date with an RSVP date of 4 weeks before. That leaves enough time to phone the people who don't RSVP before my RH needs the final count.

Ok...this is good. Thanks for the info. The wedding is out of state, but it is a small wedding, and it's mostly all family. They knew with a years notice about it....we may still send out a STD in June, but I'd say that 95% of our guests know where and when....
