this may sound silly but....

With my anxiety i'm always afraid of something.. those of you who deal with it def. know what i'm talking about. But there's always been one thing that really bothers me. Me and FH would like to try for a honeymoon baby.. but i've always had this fear that i would die during child birth or something terrible would happen... Did any of you moms or trying to be moms have fears like that? I mean i'm not pregnant yet, and i dont plan on trying for another year + some... but i've had this fear for quite a long time and it s u cks cause all i've ever wanted is to be a mom!!! it's been on my mind since we've been talking about it lately..!!
I know i sound nuts..lol.. but it's just one of those things ya know...

sorry had to get that off my chest... feel free to send out the men with the white coats..lmaoo

Motherhood.. or the thought of impending motherhood makes you think crazy things....

I'm a very relaxed person and when I was pregnant I found myself worrying about terribly ridicuous things...

Just try to think about all the wonderful things babies bring and hopefully the fears will subside. I'm sure you'll be fine... I'm pretty sure that dying during childbirth is rare these days. I actually thought to myself the other day, that had I lived in a time when the technology was not around... My daughter and I wouldn't have lived because she was a frank breech and she never dropped and then after she was born she wouldn't nurse! So technology is so great these days... just think about it that way.

aww thanx!!! i def. hear what you are saying about technology.... i had the cord wrapped around my neck and they had to cut my mom open. And my niece and nephew (twins) had problems too.. well my nephew really.. he was breech.. his poor foot was black from the doctor yanking him out.. thank god for pain meds or his mom may not have been to happy.. lol. But thankfully with all that we have today it turned out to be ok!!!!

I know it's much more rare than back in the old days.. i'm def. gonna be one of those people who is visiting my obgyn like twice a week though..lol. where are the good old days when they knocked people out for childbirth????? lmaoo

thanks though..when i think about it i get sooo happy cause i know i want kids more than anything..taking care of kids is something i love and i'm sure having my own will be wonderful..but my darn brain always has to fight with me about these things!!! lol

Yeah they should bring back knocking people out for childbirth... and labotomies... I know a few people who could use one of those, lol

Even if it's painful it doesn't last long and you forget about it over time and as soon as you fully forget ou want another one... which is usually like 4 weeks after you have one, lol. That's how long I've wanted another one for... if it wasn't for my wedding I would have had another already!!!!!!
