can you ever negotiate the price of invites? You can't, can you? If there's a set price?

I think everything is negotiable. If they dont come down, they don't. But no hurt in asking. Some places offer discounts from the manufacturer price.

i would think with an online retailer - do a search for a coupon....
for a live person - i'd think you could negotiate....as akrasner said above - it can't hurt to ask...worst they can do is say no - but the best they can do is say yes & make your day!
