This might be a stupid question but......
what type of candles do you use in votives? Can you use tealights? and if so how long does it last?

votives are a type of candle as well.
you can get them at IKEA

You can use votive candles or tealights in the votive holders.
The votive candles will make the holder get hotter than the tealights.

Just make sure they're short and unscented.
