My shower was yesterday afternoon, and I just finished my thank you notes! Being a teacher, I naturally wake up very early, and I figured that I didn't want it hanging over my head as one more thing on my to-do list! Now I can relax and go look through my (enormous!) pile of gifts!!

I guess there is a good side to getting up early naturally everyday- I'm a teacher too and have the same problem! that's why you see posts from me at 6:30am on the weekends!

Question - did you already have thank you cards picked out? Did you use generic ones? Did you get them at your bridal shower as a gift?
I just didn't know if I should buy them and have them ready or what.

My MOH gave me my thank you notes as one of my gifts. I was going to buy them to have them ready, but my mother told me not to- then I figured I'd be getting them as a gift. But I wrote a special message to each person, mentioning the gift, etc. I didn't just write the same thing in each card.
