Thanks to MandG072909 I now have a picture of someone wearing the necklace I'm thinking of getting. Do you think it will go well with my dress or do you think its too much for the dress? I've attached a picture of the bodice.
I would go without the necklace.... I am a big fan of Bling .. ... and the necklace is absolutely gorgeous but the work on the dress is beautiful and you don't want to take away from it.
My dress has a lot of beading and lace, so I am going to get a simple necklace to go with it. That necklace is beautiful, but too much with the dress....you want to showcase that dress!
I dont think I would go with the necklace. I think its too much and the dress is pretty without it.

I think its a little over powering for the dress. If you have to wear one at all I would choose something simploe and delicate.
honestly - it is too hard to tell for me to give my opinion - i would really need to see you wearing the dress with the necklace on. sorry - not much help!

i think that if you wear a necklace at all, it will take away from the beautiful detail on your dress. I'd go with earrings only.
IF you really want that necklace, i think you will be ok, but i wouldnt wear a tiara or any kind of flashy head piece or flashy earrings cause then it might be too much between the necklace and detail on the dres... beautiful dress by the way!
the necklace is for a much simplier gown. your gown has a lot going on and the necklace clashes with it. I think you can do a simple necklace....

i am a big fan of strapless dresses with no necklaces, so i personally wouldn't wear it. plus, i think the top of that gown is so gorgeous you don't want anything to take away from it!

I wouldn't wear a necklace at all, IMO.
But it is a beautiful necklace. Just competes too much with the bodice.
Thats just IMO, though- I am a minimalist when it comes to jewlery![]()

i might be concerned about length...i have to purchase a new chain for my necklace/pendant b/c it's too long for my dress...it stops right above the top of my bodice. oh crap...i have to get one today!!!
