So...... i went to dinner with one of my best friends since 1st grade. Shes like a sister. more like the sister you hate sometimes.None the less. I love her to death and since my sister actually passing ive cherished my relationships that much more. She how ever (julie) is not going to be my maid of honor. My best friend tara will (we are all the same group w/ our other friend genna) Julie is expecting to get engaged come may..and get married 2011. Im getting crazy nervous because. Her MH will be me or genna. And tara will be in wedding too. So all 4 of us will be in both weddings with in like 4 months of eachother.. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have the same situation... three of my best friends (including myself) all got engaged within months of eachother and have planned our weddings after two months after one another. I cannot afford to be in both bridal parties and will therefore have to decline the invitation to be a part of their weddings. I am not having either of my in my wedding just because I am keeping it small (it will be my two sisters and one cousin). Therefore, I feel I can opt out of being in theirs. I will still be a very much big part of their wedding just without the expense... But in other words... I know exactly what you are going through!!

I hear ya...my sister got engaged the night before we did, and she's getting married 7/3/10. My best friend got engaged this fall, I'm her MOH, she's getting married 10/30/10. And then we get married 5 months later. Holy weddings!!!!!

my cousin who got engaged after me is getting married this coming Aug me, my sister and her sister are either a bM or moh in her wedding and then my couins, her sister and my sister are either a BM or MOH in mine

that's someting that tends to happens when one friend gets engaged. It's like a domino effect and you'll find all your close friends who are in serious relationship start getting engaged and then after you know it, there is a wedding every month that you're invovled in!
One thing you guys should consider if your weddings are all close together is that you all agree not to exchange gifts. When it comes down to it, it just doesn't make much sense.
