Dear Jamie,

I met you at marni's and we had a blast with my ice cream cake. Although I am not sure how we ate it after the long conversation about leather face. I am terribly sorry I missed you last night and I was unable to help you through this hard time for you.

Please remember, I may not be on the boards all the time, I am always thinking of the girls on LIW, especially the ones going through a tough time.

I understand the heartache you must be having, but don't leave us.

SWAGS... ...I just re-read your Forget It! thread...last night I read about how you were feeling...and I did care and I did want to say something to you...but it was posted on the newlywed board and I know lately the newlywed's like to keep that board free of brides to be...so I didn't really think it was for my eyes to see...so I didn't respond.

And, now I feel so bad...because I do care (even though we've never met)...YOU WERE THE ONE ON THESE BOARDS WHO REPLIED TO ME FIRST!!!! I'LL NEVER FORGET YOU...YOU HELPED ME OUT RIGHT AWAY...YOU RESPONDED TO MY CRIES FOR HELP FOR A HAIR AND MAKEUP PERSON.

Well, I have to stick my nose in here for a second. With the recent posts about brides on the NW board, I have also felt the same way about not wanting to respond to a thread there because 'I didn't belong'

I think this is the perfect example of why I think any of us should be able to post anywhere we'd like without it being a problem. Jamie, one of the most generous people on these boards, didn't get AT LEAST one more response because of this.

Let's face it...this site is great, there are a great group of girls here, but is it really going to affect anyone's life if a future bride posts a question, or anything else for that matter, on the NW board? Let's just all get along!!!

franksbride & 2nd - we don't want to keep brides-to-be off the newlywed board. We welcome anyone to respond to any thread!

(I think what you're referring to was the request to keep wedding questions from brides to be off the board so it wouldn't become another BHB)

mishandgerard...that's exactly right! I keep away from the newlywed boards now (well...I just don't respond to threads there anymore) because of what was said. I never did post questions on the newlywed board that should have been posted on the BHB board...and now I feel bad because Swags doesn't think I/WE were there for her!

it was simply a request to keep the board relevant to the newlyweds. We don't want to keep anyone away.

it was not what was said, it was how it was said that makes people feel that way. i was even offended and i am a newlywed

LisaT...I'm sad too...because until that thread came around I spoke to some of the girls on the newlywed board...and never thought there was a problem. We had fun! But, now I feel (as some others do)...that we're just not welcomed on that board until we're actually 'newlywed'.
