This was just brought to my attention

Original post by Ab12345

Is it true that your final payment at the hall cannot be charged???? If this is true, that would be INSANE....It just doesn't make sense. What if we are counting on the gifts to pay back our credit cards with!!!!! Anyone have info on this?

i agree with everyone else - final payment cash or certified check. if you wanted to pay with a regular check, it had to be at our hall at least two weeks prior, so it had enough time to clear.

I know some credit card companies supply checks that you can write as an advance against the credit card, but it is an actual check!

Kelly9904 - Thank you. Your right, to be honest I read it fast and saw something written that wasn't there (Oh, I need a vacation).

It's not that i'm counting on my gifts to help pay for the wedding because I know I won't get it all back but the gifts will help out. Thanks everyone for the help now i guess i'll go rob a bank or something.or go play the lotto..j/k.
