I'm having a REALLY, REALLY hard time making a decision on a photographer. Picking a photographer is one of the most important decisions for my wedding and I don't want to make the wrong choice and I really have to make a decision very soon.
I've narrowed it down to the above three photographers. Please give me your opinions/advice (tell me what you liked/didn't like). Also if anyone has more pictures that I can look at, I would appreciate it. I really like the photojournalistic style pictures. I wish I could combine them and get one photographer LOL.

I met with Bob from velvet and he was def one of my top picks the only drawback was that he seemed too traditional for my taste. If you like traditional photos he would be great. i wanted more photojounalistic also looking at his albums they didnt jump out at me with creativity. JMO.
I didnt meet with any of the others you listed.

I booked Velvet. I am really happy with my choice. I look me e-pics with Bob last week and we had such a great time and felt so comfortable with him. His work is a little more traditional than the others, but I think they are working on doing more photojournalistic style. He even brough a photojournalistic photog with him on our e-shoot.
Never met with the other two, so I can't say anything about them, but I have heard great things about both Thomas Paul and Dan Wagner.
Go with who you feel most comfortable with, this person is going to be with you throughout your entire day, so its important to 'click' with him.

Definitely Dan Wagner!!!!!! DAN'S BLOG has a ton of new photos. I just looked at it and he already has photos from 2 weddings he shot this past weekend. Good luck

I booked thom on the spot. They say that he does a lot of photoshoping but that is entirely up to you. He is into a contemporary style which is like a magazine style i would say...lol. But he is phenomenal, my FH loved him as soon as all the pictures were shown to him. We went to a couple of other places and my FH was not into it at all.

I'd go with Thomas Paul. I was a Velvet Bride. We booked him over two years ago when he seemed to have more of a photojournalistic style and lately he's been more traditional, which is not what FH and I wanted. We felt bad cancelling with him because he is such a nice guy, but we wanted something different in our pictures, so we booked with TP. He is soo great!

depends on what you like, Velvet is very good but I believe they do mostly traditional, I almost booked them as well and have heard only good about them. Go meet with a bunch, see their work and see what they offer you and see what feels best for you that what I did.

we used Velvet ..and couldnt be happier!! Bob and his Wife were amazing at our wedding...i have some Pro pics in my album!!!

I am meeting with Dan Wagner next week. His prices and packages were a little more within my budget than Thomas Pau. I liked both websites and just emailed Velvet Studios since you ladies had great things to say about them. This is the hardest vendor to choose

I've never met with Velvet, so I can't say anything about them, but you CANT go wrong with Dan Wagner or TP. We booked with TP but they were both outstanding!!

I havent met with Velvet ot Dan Wagner but i love TP. I have some epics in my album. My friends used Velvet in 07 and their pics are very traditional. I'm not sure if that was what they asked for but it wasnt for me. They were very happy with them though.
