I think I remember reading in one of my magazines that a bride and groom who did this had them delivered. Maybe you could contact the delivery person in that area?

If its within my budget, we are going to have a coffee truck sit outside for the last hour of the party. Iv'e seen it before but we haven't called to get any prices yet. I did take their card and I also cut an ad out from another ciffee truck.
Timm's Catering Inc. 631-744-1697 is who I got the card from. It's a clean coffee truck filled with bagels, all kinds of potato chips, soda, juice, water, boxes of 6 Krispy Kremes, coffee & tea etc.
I thought it was great. They had custom bags made that said 'compliments of.... Thank you, Drive safely!'
Everything on the cart is prepaid by the host.
I'm not sure if they have newspapers, but I'm sure they can arrange it.
Maybe this is too much for you- but we loved it. It's definetly on our list of things we want to fit in. It's great for people who have a long drive home.
Oh the ad I cut out was called 'Tobo Foods' 516-623-4624. I only saw the picture in the ad, I don't know their reputation or what they carry.
Hope this helps.

I went to Krispy Kreme for the doughnuts yesterday and they are $3 for the two pack but they will decorate them for you and you can pick whatever doughnuts you want. There is a $50 delivery fee. Sounds pretty reasonable to me.

Some people give out the next day's paper and doughnuts to their guests as they're leaving the reception.

many hotels provide free papers (at least they used to) and having a donut after wedding cake just seems like too much for me. i think the idea is cute for the morning after, but i would try to think of other things as guests leave, i personally have never witnessed the newspaper/donut idea...

I am planning on doing this only if we make it into the NYTimes. But I am pretty sure that the catering hall will arrange it for you. Otherwise, I would definitely have them deliver it.

Ive never heard or seen anything like this before? Ive been to soooooooo many weddings too. Must be something very new. I think donuts after cake and cookies or dessert is too much too. I like the bagel idea, but it seems strange to me all together. Are you having an after party? Did you block rooms for guest with long rides home or OOT'ers? Im sure they provide papers.
Has anyone really seen this done at weddings? Im curious?

Hm...Do they even make a super early edition of Saturday's paper? I've only ever seen the Sunday paper available early on Saturday.

Actually, it's a very old idea that's coming back now. Your parents would probably have been to weddings that have done this, I know my mom talks about it all the time but I think that it is only the Sunday paper that you can get early. Call Newsday and ask them, they'll be able to tell you.

I know I answered you before, but I want to help. I just went on Newsday website for you and got the Sales # 516/631-843-2121 or General Info 516/631-843-4000. I hope they can help do this for you.
I've seen this done a lot, long before the coffee trucks beacme the'new thing'

I've seen a lot of weddings that make a mock front cover with a picture of the couple and their names in big headlines saying they got married.
