thanks julz im going to take pics either today or tomorrow and ill post the updated ones the kitchen is almost finished minus the backsplash and both baths are almost finished minus there vanities that im having made.

Julie, my whole house is an ongoing renovation. When Phil gets an idea in his head (even when he finished the room a year ago) he does it.
Our house is always changing and being re-painted, crown moulding being taken down to put bigger and better crown moulding up, re-doing my bathroom that was just re-done a year and half ago, etc... Oh and now I have a laundry room, he put walls up one weekend just recently.
I can't keep up!!!

Adrianna - your house is really nice. I love the paint colors.
We will be starting our renovations in a month or 2. Right now we are in the process of picking a contractor. We are doing our kitchen, dining room, livingroom and hallway.

PS..I noticed the poker chip set on the floor..my dh has that same set.. and I think I have the same dining room set as you..did you change the cushion fabric??

Adrianna, I love the colors of your home! I also noticed a beautiful Pink Phalenopsis Orchid in your bedroom, orchids dress up a room instantly! I'm glad to see another orchid-person ![]()

I will be posting pictures soon enough!! We are buying my grandfathers teeny tiny house and completely redoing it! right now its a small 2 bedroom w/ EIK, basement, garage and attic. We are going to dormer the attic and put in a full bath and 3 bedrooms. blow out the first floor to have a large great room, huge kitchen, full bath and large living room. we'll be adding a deck with sliding glass doors that go out to it from the first floor. THEN when all is said and done we will finish the basement.![]()

I am very nervous about all of the work, and the $$$$$. We are lucky to have an electrician in the family and a good friend who is a plumber. DH's dad is very good friends with someone who owns his own construction company so that will take care of the dormer, but I know its going to take a lot of work and $$$. Julz, you are really giving me hope!! you have done such a great job already! I'll keep you guys updated, its going to be a LONG battle!

I definately have to get pics of our before...we had to gut our entire house! We were down to the studs in every room.
When we bought our house, it looked like a horror flick was filmed here...it was VERY VERY VERY Bad, and all the rooms were cut up into tiny rooms, tiny hallways...we had to redo everything, from floor to ceiling. We had to get beams, headers...in order to create an open floor plan.
It's overwhelming at first, but so amazing when it all comes together, and they house is truly your own when it's done.

Here's some before pics of my home...it was a nightmare, but it came out beautiful...we are thrilled with the final product (and now we are in the process of finalizing details with our architect for another addition).\
