Hi I'm Anna. I am not on LIW as often as I would like to be but post when I can. I hate drama and was shocked at what was going on!! I hope I get to know all of you girls in the next year or so of planning - I LOVE IT!!!!! and look forward to all of your opinions and suggestions.

once i booked my date-everyone was like WHAT a holiday weekend. I didnt even realize we did that but it actually works better for us. Long weekends are the best! So far we booked our dj and rh but we have a photographer appt on 5/19 im sooo excited! I never evem mentioned my age..im 23 and will be 24 when we tie the knot! FH is 25 turning 26 in July.

Is anyone using calla lillies for their centerpieces????

Hi I'm Christine and getting married on my parents wedding anniversary next August!!! I love all my RH, vendors and MY DRESS!!!! I have a few things left to do.
I have to say I love this site, despite ALL the DRAMA and have made some really good friends on here.

Hi I am Nicole and I am getting married in May of 2009.... I am fairly new on this site and I do not know the least bit about planning a wedding!!!! I can't wait to talk to you guys WITHOUT DRAMA and perhaps we can all learn a few things from each other!!!

Hi, I'm Christy but everyone has called me Tiny my entire life, my grandfather started it when I was born and apparently it jinxed me because I am only 4'11, which made is somewhat difficult to find a wedding dress...

Anywho .. drama free is the way to be!!! hehe

no way! i'm 4'11 toooo!!! i feel ur pain...all that has to be done to my dress is altering the bottom! i'll probably get 12' of extra fabric off of it!

Awww!! Here's to being 4'11 hehe...

They told me to get shoes first so they can order the dress with the proper length so I won't need a lot of alterations..we shall see. I have shoes but I'm not sure if I'm keeping them because I have a feeling they are going to hurt as the night goes on, but they are soooooo pretty! lolz

NO, you're not. I actually checked the calendar twice to make sure when I was picking my date (specifically wanted that weekend for OOT guests).

With everything else, national holidays do not need to be top of your agenda!!! But, now that you know, keep in mind that hotels for our weekend book up fast and are higher priced. Block off your rooms as soon as possible . . . . .

Garden City Hotel will do it now.
Holiday Inn Westbury, Marriott Long Island will only do it 50 weeks in advance.

That's all I know so far.

I'm Danielle, I get engaged on September 14, 2007. We've set the date for 5.31.09 at Fox Hollow
