Those of you that did E-Pics..

im going to be choosing my Day-Of photographer soon. i noticed that many people on this board see to have taken e-pics at some point with your wedding day photographers.
so, was this a full additional cost?
was there any incentive on either the E-pics or the day-of photography if you did E-pics??
FH and i didnt want to spend money on e-pics so we got some cheapo ones taken when we were on vacation in mexico in january.
but if photographers offer them in some type of package when you book your day-of photography, i would DEF do it..

any help??
any photographers that have done this?/
anyone ask about this ever??
am i making any sense??

I think most photographers offer it complimentary....mine were free you keep proofs and then pick 1 for a free 8x10 if you wanted more you buy them.Hope that helps.

Yeah, some photographers offer that as part of the package. Duet does and so do some other vendors... it may be abit less if you dont take up on the epic offer, but I would do it 'cus it doesn't cost much if it's offered in the package..

And it's SOOOOOO worth it, especially if you're doing a signboard. You'll also have some really nice photos to post for engagement announcements.

you can see mine in my albums. :)

My engagement pictures were free. We met the photographer at the Oakdale Arboretum and he took about 100 pictures. I was given copies of all of the pictures.

Our package includes it. I wanted it since I'm doing a picture frame that my guests will sign. Our photographer is Gary Leli, he's great.

My e-pics were complimentary. No charge! Some of them are in my album and they are taken by Artistic Images

not every photographer offers them. some of them never even heard of engagement sessions.
so it depends on the studio/photographer I guess.

my girlfriend just got married and she had an engagement session included in the package but she said there were packages without it as well. I guess not everyone wants them.

She and her (now)husband went to a couple different spots with the photographer and from their favorite photos the photographer made a custom book which they used as a guest sign-in book at the reception. It was very very cute and one of a kind; haven't seen one like that before.

I have a link to their e-session slideshow. FM me for it if you want to see it.

I had the same photographer that would be my day of photographer

12th night did it as part of our package- it was great because it was like a trial run to see how our photographer worked and how DH and I reacted to each other in front of a camera

Our e-pics were $200 extra... I added them on after we booked, I am sure if I had asked for them when we booked I could have gotten them for free. Oh well. $200 in the scheme of things was not very much.

my photographer offers them...we're paying $100...i guess we get a discount since we're using her for the wedding...i'm not sure how much it would be if we didn't go with her

we are using 12th night and e-pics were included with our package. it worked out great because we got to meet our main photographer for our wedding day in advance, and they gave us all the photos on a cd.

Artie from Artistic Images is throwing it in for free - even told me to bring my 2 children and he could do a few family shots while we're at it. I love Artie - he's gonna be great to work with.
