Re: those of you who booked Hawaii already
ours were $760 per person. I wanted to upgrade to first class - but that would have been closer to $5k per person!

I dont think the tickets should cost you more than $800.00 unless the seats in lower service classes are sold out...

Re: those of you who booked Hawaii already
Ours were priced$709 each non stop on Continental from Newark.
I looked into first class and it would be about $2,500 each.
I also looked into using miles to upgrade and it would be $1500 each plus 70k miles.
So, we used our 70k miles and got the coach tickets for $18. We booked early enough so there's nobody else sitting in our little section of the row and there's nobody in front of us either. We're also not that tall so we'll survive.

If you go first class the tickets are around $2K each...but rt coach is in the $700-$750 area.

There are no direct flights to hawaii. We're going from JFK to LAX, then LAX to OGG. I think most stops are either in texas, LA, or Las Vegas. I could be wrong... but that's what i've found so far.

Re: those of you who booked Hawaii already
the only nonstop flight is on continental Newark to Honolulu... if you are flying to other islands you will have to have a connection...

Continental has a non-stop flight from Newark to Oahu.

NO way!! Were did he get that from. It is around $700 and above.
Wow! I can't believe first class is around 2k each. We are flying first class, but we used frequent flyer miles. It only cost us $350 each to upgrade. We almost made the 75,000 each it cost to go first class, but were both a little short. We wound up buying some miles.
