I know this is a minority of girls - are you still registering?
I am not sure that I am having a shower.... it would be too close to X-mas. Yes, I am still registered. The out-of-towners may not feel good about sending money (different areas do different things, ya know?) and I did it mostly for them. I think I would anyway, just in case people prefer to give a gift!
I think that is what we are going to end up doing. I am the one that doesnt want the shower - FH was hesitant about that but we compromised on no shower and just registering
We didn't register and had no shower. We only had like 10 people give us things for the home, and although we didn't like all of them, most were pretty cool.. I don't regret not registering, I think it would have been a major pain and I didn't want to deal with it...
I'm so happy to see that some people aren't having a shower - although it may be for different reasons than I have I guess. I just feel like the whole wedding thing has gotten so expensive and I didn't want to put people through that expense......maybe I'm not the only one ?
