Those who are doing/did WINE FAVORS

What did you with the wine label it came with? did you remove it or did you put your personalized label over it? Not sure what to do...TIA

well, i got a wine favor and i think the bride told me bottle came without anything so she could put her own tag.. or she told them to personalize it..

I am removing the existing front bottom label & replacing it with my own label.

I did a trial of taking the old label off by getting the label wet with a sponge then scrubbing it off & it worked.

I suggest you try it with whatever wine you you getting so you know if it is going to be a big headache taking the old labels off & if it is worth doing

ive heard of soaking the bottle in soapy water and then removing the label (use goo-gone for any sticky residue left over)

but i havent tried it out

We did half-size bottles of Luna diLuna. I actually liked the design of the bottles so we just wrapped them in colored tissue paper (to match the wedding colors) then put them in clear cellophane bags and tied them with customized ribbon.

They actually looked pretty cool if I may say so.

We didn't remove the label at all - if you look in my album you'll see that we just put the bottles in an organza bag and put a nice favor tag on it- everyone LOVED the wine btw!!

I'm pretty sure I'm doing the wine favors. I won't be removing the label, just putting a ribbon.

i'm leaving the label. i loved it and it matched by colors. i am putting the label on the back with our names and putting the wine in organza bags and I have a personalized tag with our monogram to hang off the bag.
