Can you please share where you are staying? FH and I are totally confused about hotels!!

Sorry for crashing your board, but we spent 2 days in Rome....b4 our cruise. We stayed at the Marcella Royale hotel and it was very nice. Our room was great, 5th floor, large room, questionable AC (but everywhere in Europe is like that). We were about 1/2 mile to the Trevi Fountain, which we walked to. We'd stay there again, no complaints & it was reasonable. But if you want to be closer to the action (spanish steps, vatican, etc.) do some research.
You can check out trip advisor and I forget the other site for Europe...

we're using a travel agent because neither of us have ever been to Italy and I didn't trust myself to book things in good locations. I didn't want to mess around with our HM. As of now our HM isn't booked and it's still a work in progress... however, so far we are supposed to be in Italy for 13 days total split between Naples, Rome, Lucca and Florence. This was the schedule my travel agent came up with and I trust her because she has travelled there extensively. Look at tripadvisor.com for hotels... the guest reviews and photos are really helpful!

We are going to Italy for our honeymoon too! We have not booked our hotels yet, so any advice or suggestions are definitely welcomed.
Itinerary: Dublin, Ireland Venice, Italy Rome, Italy Naples and then Positano
