Those who are having or have had and e-party. . .

Did you buy invitations (had them made) or DIY?

How did you do DIY if you did?
How much did it cost for those who didn't?

Thanks . . as always for your help and advice!

I went to Staples and found the cutest invites, all I had to do was print the wording on to them from Microsoft Word (they came with instructions as far as what size the paper was so I knew how to set the margins)

I spent $20 all together and I got so many compliments on them

I diyed them and the probably cost more than if I had just had them printed! I made gatefolds and they probably cost about $150 for around 100 invites. Pictures are in my album

I had mine made. It cost for 100 invitations 100 insert envelopes 100 regular envelopes with address printed on back.
about 200. But then dont forget you haveto buy stamps for invite & RSVP. so it gets a little costly. If you have alot of people.

I actually went to staples to buy an invitation kit which included the back cardstock, vellum paper and a bow. All we had to do was print on the vellum paper and put the bows to hold the invitation together (they even had the holes pre-punched). They looked so cute!!!

You can also buy them at AC Moore & Michaels. IF you get their coupons, you can save a lot.

I found paper at walmart and printed them using microsoft word. I even made my own direction cards using Microsoft. I just wanted something simple cost me at most $15 for my invites.

I bought cute ones from Hallmark. They were super cheap (even cheaper with a coupon) and we just have to fill them out. We're just having a backyard party, so this was just what I wanted. My cousin had a bigger e-party in a vfw hall with a DJ. They made cute invites on the computer and printed them out on paper that they bought at staples.

I ordered mine and spent $250. I don't have the patience for DIY; I'd rather spend the money.

Ours were no big deal. They were just from a party store. I'm saving the good stuff for the big day.

Great! Thank you do much ladies. . . I am going to check all the DIY albums and see how you did them. I looked at some invites in Michael's today and I didn't like them. I am soo picky - but I KNOW I can do it myself. Actually I saw the very same ones that I did like in Michaels, I saw them in Walmart too (they are cheaper even with the cupons in Walmart).

We shall see I will let you all know!

Thanks!
