Those who are having or have had and e-party. . .

Original post by RobNCyn

Did you buy invitations (had them made) or DIY?

How did you do DIY if you did?
How much did it cost for those who didn't?

Thanks . . as always for your help and advice!

I found these in Party City for I believe 8.99 a pack of 10 and you just go to the companies website and you print them yourself at home. We just had a BBQ kinda thing in my back yard so I didnt want to spend a lot of money on professional invites even though everyone thought we did! You can look in target too they have printable ones too... the newer ones are SO CUTE!

Just realized it is too small to read it says
'The most precious moment of her life Jeremy asked Jessica to be his wife! Please join us in celebrating the engagement of yada yada yada... when and where and all that stuff ' lol

FH's cousin designed them w/ our pictures and we had them printed at kinkos--pics are in my album. it was an announcement that doubled as an invite, and lots of family members/friends saved or framed them.

We made our own...we picked out the paper we liked and just printed them at kinkos at 10 cents a piece!

We're having an informal pool party so I had nice paper lying around and we're going to make copies at staples. It'll probably cost under $50.

We are getting ours through shutterfly.com. We are creating a collage card with 3 pictures of us, and then the information for the party on the bottom. They are .89 each card.

I ended up using the RSVP cards they sell at staples, I added a cute white ribbon the top of it. I dont have any pics of it online...or any pics for that matter. But everyone said it was very pretty. I only spent money on the ribbon. The RSVP cards were left overs my friend had from her wedding.

I also went to Staples, and found an invitation kit. It came with 50 invites and included the envelopes, rsvp cards, and fancy seals for the envelopes. I was perfect and the invites were very nice. I used MW to print the invites and the envelopes. They came out very nice...people thought I ordered them. total cost was $50

I went to ACmore. We had a coupons so we had two orders to get the % off both. They have a great selection of card stock and it came to about $45 with stamps if that. You do not have to send RSVP's that go in the mail if you dont want to its just a e-party. So we put a phone number and or e-mail and that worked out just fine.

Target has the invites I like. They are only 25 bucks and I am having my sister print them for me.

ours were DIY... we went to staples and got a plain invite kit... they were plain with with the vellum overlay and a white ribbon to tie a bow to attch them together. We printed out a pic of us and but it on the plain white part of the invite and then printed the wording to the invite on the vellum. We placed the vellum ( with the words) over teh white invite ( with the pic) and attached a white ribbon and a black ribbon ( our theme was black and white) and they came out realy cute!
