I tried my dress on at Macy's and it was $ 400 less to get it at The Commack Wedding Center

I didn't get a better price for the dress, but I did throw a BIt@h fit in the store b/c the salesgirl intenionally showed me something that she knew was out of my price range & of course, I fell in love with it.

So, what they did: free slip; cost for veil, cost for headpiece (this worked out really well b/c it has sworski crystals) and they threw in the stockings & garter.

I figured I made out on the deal

Nope, but Kleinfelds has a habit of giving 15% off their prices (that are prob. 15% too high

). Didn't feel like barganing b/c I could only find my designer in 2 places in the city, and I didn't like the other place so I knew I'd get it at Kleinfeld no matter what the price.

No, I didn't try to bargain because my dress was a sample and it was automatically something like 40% off the regular price. I think I got a great deal and the price was well within my budget.
