Those who did coloring/activity books....

how did you bind them. I thought I would take them to staples (I still might!) but funds are getting tight!!! So I was wondering how the rest of you bound them, TIA ladies!!!!!!!!

Really good question...maybe do a one whole punch at the top and use one of those thingies. I know - how helpful am I being??

One of those things that holds things together and has legs that you open...

Wow - i'm a mess!

the binding is pretty inexpensive at staples. but you could always glue one side of the book.

I don't know if this would look cheap or chessy but remember those report covers we had to use in high school... the clear things with the colored plastic thing that slides down the side?? Maybe they have them in a pack with all purple plastic thingies you could use. Otherwise I would just hole punch 2 holes down the side and insert ribbon. Just a couple ideas.

Do you or anyone you know have access to a comb binding machine at work?

You can buy pretty attractive comb binds relatively inxepensively.

These ones are 25 for about $14.00

or you could buy these, you get 50 for about $3 and then maybe cover it with ribbon of a cardstock strip

We used staples. Its alot easier for the kids to bend the papers back and work on the one that they want. Also some colored some of the pages and were giving them out as presents to their families so it was easier with the staple.
