Those who don't follow 'lent' restricitions and are Meat lovers...

No offense to ANY who do follow lent, I think it's admirable.

No offense to those who don't eat meat, that is your choice.

But GOD i love this time of the year.
Every Friday we try to hit some place that's meat inspired. It's the only time in the year Outback's wait time is reduced.

Anyone else taking advantage?

I follow the Lent restrictions.

But good for all of you taking advantage of it if you don't. Maybe I will have to not follow one Friday and get into Outback quicker.

you sound like my husband lol he is catholic but doesnt practice and loves this time of year when he can go to steak houses without a wait. i dont eat meat during lent lol but love short lines so im in anyway lol and just east fish or salads

my mom and I used to go to Tony Romas or some other steak house on Good Friday. It was always empty it was great.
We're Methodist so we don't do Lent and the no meat thing.

Oooh, I never thought of that! I was actually goign to get a roast beef sandwhich to do my part for te beef industry, but the I the pizzeria had eggplant, & I rarely eat that & love it, so I got it.
