Those who had or are having an outdoor ceremony....

Was there a place to put your programs/ bubbles, other things?

I know at my site we def hav a table for the unity candle, but I do not think they will give us another table.

So how are you planning on putting out your various items?

I just went to a wedding with an outdoor ceremony and thet placed one prgram on each chair. It looked really pretty. Not sure about what you'd do with bubbles...maybe you could have someone hand them out at the end of the ceremony?

I didn't have programs or bubbles, but we had a white wicker yarmulka basket, and I believe it was placed outside, right at the start of the aisle, possibly on a cocktail table or some other small table. They should let you do that!!!

They provided a small table for me at the beginning of the chairs to hold my baskets of programs and bubbles. Your hall should definately provide this. : )

I am not having bubbles or programs. I am going to do rose petals, and they will be on each individual chair. I figured they could throw the petals as we walk back down the aisle as a married couple, since we won't be leaving a church.

I am having an outdoor/beach wedding, and although I am not having programs maybe the groomsmen could hand out the programs as the guests arrive and take their seats. I also love the idea of placing the programs on each chair however I would be concerned with the wind blowing them away.

At my wedding we are having a table set up next to the boat house where we are getting married. Guests have to walk along a small 'boardwalk' that comes to a boat house and we are getting married right by the boathouse which is on a grassy bluff over the beach. Anyway, on this table which will be set with lavender and lace linens (just like the tables at the reception), I am going to have bottles of Dasani water for each guest in a huge galvanized ice bucket and a basket that contains little bags of confetti for each guest to 'throw' when we walk back down the isle. If I opted to do programs I guess I would also put them there. Maybe your site could accomodate you with an extra table next to the ceremony site so you could place these items.

Good luck!

Christine

Oh and P.S. If you are having an outdoor wedding that goes into the evening I would suggest putting bottles of 'Off' somewhere if the guest need it. I bought those clear bottles of 'Off' and put small lavender ribbons on them and I am placing one on each table, just in case. Even though my tent has netting.
