Those who have been to ARUBA

Where have you stayed?
What do you reccommend?

DH and I r going in July and we want to book this week but want to know where to stay.

Any suggestions?

We're going on our honeymoon and we're staying at the Hyatt Regency, they just completely redid everything.

The Riu hotel. Was just there in December. It's brand new...very nice...only thing is that the beds are VERY hard...so if you don't mind that, everything else was great! Good luck

we stayed at playa linda but I think it might be all timeshares, I'm not sure

we stayed at the divi all inclusive. nice hotel but wouldnt suggest doing all inclusive in aruba. there are too many great restaurants and bars !

I went there for a desination not too long ago and got to see a couple of hotels. The Divi's are great in the low rise section, but I agree not to do an all-inclusive since the food is the best part of Aruba.

We are going there for our honeymoon and staying at the Hyatt, 2 of my best friends went there and they both stayed at the Hyatt and raved about it. The travel agent also tried to get us to stay at the Occidental, it is an all inclusive, but my heart was set on the Hyatt!!

My hm is this June and we as well picked Aruba. I booked Tierra del Sol resort and spa. Got a pretty good deal for a 2br villa on a golf course with our own in ground pool!

we went to the occidental for our honeymoon in october. we loved the hotel. Its an all inclusive resort. Let me know if you need any info!

One of our cruises stopped there. It was for over 12 hours. I highly recommend the jeep tour! So much fun!

we stayed at the divi dutch village, i agree i would never do an all inclusive there because there are tons of amazing restaurants to try!

We stayed at the Marriott Beach club for 10 days Loved it and then we stayed at the Renaissance Aruba Ocean Suites I loved them both. But the Renaissance has its own private island.

i stayed at the renissance for my HM and thats the only hotel with a private island, its was awesome! also you can just walk right out into town, its in the middle of everything, unlike the high rise area, theres not to much around. you'd have to take a cab to the mall and all the stores.

Also look at Buttuci (sp?) that place was our first choice the tara wing i think... its so secludded and amazing but small and completly booked up by the time we decided.
