Those who have been to the Sandals in St Lucia...

I heard a rumor that you have to book reservations for dinner in advance- like weeks in advance. I was just wondering if this is true- and if it is, how I would go about doing that. We leave for our HM in 2 weeks, and I already know that there are some restaurants that I would already like to go to- I just wouldnt want to be disappointed if we got there and we couldnt go to the restaurants we want to. Thanks!!

I heard this too and we're going there. I'd ask your travel agent.

We went to St. Lucia last year. We didn't have to book in advance but it was one of the first things we did when we got there. Hope that helps.

I am going in February and I have been concerned about the same thing. How terrible if you cant even get a table for dinner.

I just emailed Sandals to find out, I will let you know when i hear back from them

The only thing I had to book was the spa.

In order to get the times you want and the days for certain spa things it's a good idea. It books up quickly. I booked the restaurants when I got there.

We went last month and made the reservations when we got there. And even added reservations later.
Same for the spa. made the 1st appt when we got there for a couple of days later and then made another for the next day.
(the resort was full also so it wasnt that bad)

I've been there 2x. Once in March for our HM and then 2 years later in August. The time in March was high season and was more crowded. In August, not so much. I usually like to get a massage and facial before I get tanned (burned) so I wanted it first thing in the am or right before the first dinner there. If that doesn't matter to you, you can wait. I booked the spa about 2 weeks before I left.

the Guest Liaison Department and at the Front Desk (after hours). If
you are booked in a concierge room, your concierge should be able to
assist you with this.

I agree. When I went to St. Lucia, I made reservations while I was there for restaurants during my stay.
